Ana Avellan-Martinez is the Executive Associate in the Office of Research & Partnerships at the University of Arizona, where she supports senior leadership in advancing the university's research enterprise and fostering collaborations with industry, government, and academic partners. Her work helps connect innovative ideas with meaningful partnerships that create lasting impact for Arizona and beyond.

Before joining the University of Arizona, Ana spent 30 years with Philips as an Executive Assistant in the Ultrasound Research & Development team. She supported senior engineering and business leaders, handled complex executive operations, coordinated global projects, encouraged cross-functional teamwork, and contributed to strategic planning and organizational goals within a fast-paced research and innovation setting.
